Future of Vaccines

The predictions being made for the future of vaccines terrifies me. At this time, there
are over 150 vaccines waiting to be introduced into our population. While single
vaccines are studied for safety (even if the studies are flawed), multiple vaccines are
not studied. We have no idea how the many vaccines react together in the body. We do
not know the cumulative effects of so many vaccines. What we risk in our population is
overvaccination. There is a great list by Dan Schultz DC on this website: http://blog.
novaccine.com/. Basically, this list contains the top ten concerns for the future of
vaccinations. Read this list; it is excellent!

The Model Emergency Health Powers Act

Without getting too political, this Act was an infringement on our civil liberties. This Act
gave our government power to force vaccination upon us whenever the government
decides to declare a so called pandemic. This takes away our very basic right to
autonomy. We are now facing this issue with the present Swine Flu controversy.
Predictions are being made that the government may do anything from tax penalties,
fines, jail time, and creating a national registry to enforcing vaccinations at gunpoint.
This is the way our society is headed if we don’t fight with all we have. We must ask
ourselves what is this issue about? Is this really about protecting citizens? Since when
should we not be able to make the decision for ourselves? Or is this issue really about
control, money, and power? Vaccines are big business.

Another issue of this Act is that it shields drug companies and the government from
responsibility if you or your child is injured from a forced vaccination. If you are forced to
vaccinate your children or yourself, and you get injured, no one is going to be held
responsible. Do you find this as outrageous as I do?

Parent’s Rights

No one has a child’s best interests at heart more than the parents. It is an ingrained,
instinctual nature to protect our young and do what is best for them. People may
disagree on the best way to do that, but we should get to decide for ourselves what we
believe. In certain states, parents have been forced to vaccinate their children or face
jail time. This is a violation of our rights, and it is going on in our modern day.
Extremely pro-vaccine states are Maryland, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Many of
the Eastern coast states tend to favor vaccines.

GMO Foods

Researchers are now proposing putting vaccines into the foods we eat by using
genetically modified or engineered foods. These foods will not be labeled as such, so
it will be difficult to avoid them. Even buying fresh fruits and vegetables will no longer
by completely safe unless organic produce is purchased. Which also brings up the
issue of the government attacking organic farms recently, trying to make organic
produce disappear.

Mosquitoes

In addition to foods, researchers are trying to figure out how to use mosquitoes as a
vessel for vaccines. If a mosquito is carrying a vaccine, the idea would be for the
vaccine to transfer to a person when the mosquito bites. I cannot say whether or not
this will come to pass, be feasible, or realistic, but there are many problems with this
scenario. There would be no way to know who had already received a vaccine. What
exposure would be classified as too much? This could be potentially devastating.
Once this would be unleashed in mosquitoes, there would be no way to go back if a
mistake is realized. This would also be a worldwide problem eventually as
mosquitoes are everywhere. This would be insanity.
